The special part of this 8 course meal was: The ingredients are commonly known/ used ie. Tabasco sauce and Soyu, but in a form of jelly and mousse (and I was like: whaaaaaat?)
.
Perfect presentation and yet not overly done, every single dish is just awesome!

Second visit and still loving the dining experience here (ps: more choices for omakase dinner set)

A good experience for Omakase Dining! Excellent service. Be prepared to pay RM400 per pax
Inventive and refreshing. Some of the standouts-
*Foie gras, Japanese tomato
*Live oyster, caviar, Japanese orange and Tabasco jelly
* sashimi platter, soy sauce mousse
* yoghurt sphere dessert
Why argue over what to order when you can leave your meal in the hands of a knowledgeable chef? Put your money where it's worth for a stress-free dinner date! However, be warned that this is one to save up for β dinner begins at RM220 and breaches RM450 for the 10-course degustation menu. With this style of dining, innovative surprises make the meal and Yokohama-born executive chef Fukuchi excels in the department. Exotic ingredients like foie gras, Spanish mackerel and fresh cuts of sashimi come together to take you on a gastronomic journey through modern Japan, with a sweet finale β think jelly, mochi and ice cream. Pro tip: Although located in the Gardens mall, it is easier to access the hidden restaurant through the entrance of The Gardens Hotel next door.
Avg Price: RM250

Omakase is a Japanese dining experience that allows the chef full autonomy on what to serve you. The element of surprise makes it a good conversation starter, so bring a date to Sou Omakase, part of KL's Yuzu group of restaurants. The lunch menu begins at RM88 for a five-course meal while dinner goes up to RM320 for ten courses. Opt to spend your date here on quiet afternoons with the splendid natural light that come with the private seats. Expect delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients along the likes of seasonal vegetables served with cheese fondue, grilled abalone with bamboo shoots, and trendy desserts like the translucent Japanese water cake β a jelly-like dessert eaten with soybean powder and sugar syrup.
Avg Price: RM150
