I miss the days when my Pop would come home from a long night gig with two pieces of good quality brownies that he would buy from a local bakery store-- one for me and one for my twin sister. He would never come home without those delicious brownies. Never had I imagine that I will be able to make good brownies from scratch. Surprisingly, I was able to copy the taste of those brownies that we used to enjoy. 😋 Below is the recipe! Have a Sweet Brownie Night everyone! :) 1 cup melted butter (unsalted)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 eggs
1 1/4 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa Powder (unsweetened)
1/4 cup plain flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup HERSHEY'S semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

1. Pre-heat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Grease (using non-stick cooking spray or butter) and flour the baking pan.
3. Place the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl. Mix them together using an electric hand mixer in a low speed. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4. Add the sifted cocoa powder, flour, and salt and beat until well blended.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with chocolate chips and chopped nuts on top.
6. Bake for about 40-50 minutes or until the brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan. Let it cool for 3-4 hours and cut into bars on your desired size.
