Classic plate of slow cooked duck with savoury rice.
Yummy portion!
They’re really crisp and nicely cleaned, and would make great beer snacks—but can someone explain why their Kway Chap here is so god damn expensive? This came as part of a set for 2 for $23.60

At Quan Lai, I suspect the kway has been cooked together with the thick and gooey broth, allowing the thick rice sheet to absorb the flavour. I am glad that the kway doesn't taste bland, instead soaking up the delicious broth for an enjoyable bite.

The whole meal comes to $25.80. Do you think it is expensive?

Fragrant yam rice, duck meat is prepared well with sweet gravy. One of the best duck rice around. Going to try the kway chap the next time.
Just realize I always eat the same thing... Because it's nice lah!
