Roast Meat Stall Decided to order from this Roast Meat Stall after seeing it on google review. Ordered the 1 portion meal ($8.50) which I think is enough for 2 people if add rice. 1 unique thing about this stall is they served ah char. The roast meat is the best i have tried. It doesn't have the burnt and salty taste. Roast duck is also good but char siew can be improved. Overall, a good place for all the meats dish

Ho-Bee Roasted Food Seeing a steady stream of customers at Ho-Bee Roasted Food, I joined in the queue as well. Since many of them ordered the 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝘂𝗰𝗸, I chose that as well. The meat was tender and juicy, but the glistening skin wasn't as crispy as I'd hoped it was. The achar on the side was surprisingly good, its crunchy and sweet-sour profile providing both a textural and flavour contrast. Overall it was pretty decent, if a little too oily. Rosti in a Hawker Centre Ang Moh Zi Char is the only hawker stall in Singapore I know of which serves rosti. Being a big fan of their sister stall Butternut Kitchen and their thin crust fusion pizza, I was kinda looking forward to trying their rosti. For $13, you get a nice sized rosti topped with a salmon fillet and some garden peas. The key to a good rosti is a crispy crust and unfortunately, Ang Moh Zi Char's rosti was soggy and greasy. I will be back for their pizza but will probably give the rosti a miss.

Rosti Order the Rosti with 2 protein (chicken chop NC Salmon which cost $12. The Rosti was served quickly in about 2mins to me that's when I knew it was not cooked to order. The Rosti is soggy and not crispy as I expect. The salmon seems a bit undercook. The only good thing would be the chicken chop which was marinated well. I felt that overall, concept of this stall is good but food is not as good as Butternut.

Signature Wantan Noodle Nope, you won’t any Ang Moh here; except probably some customer who dining here. Gotten the name when the previous owner who looks like Ang Moh and people start calling it. Now with the new owner and new place, they continue to carry the name along Joo Chiat Road. Came on 57th National Day and they are having $5.70 special promotion for their signature wantan noodle meal. The meal included pieces of wantan, fried wantan and dumpling; so I could taste all of them at once. This was my first visit here and I’m surprised with the texture of their char siew, which was very soft unlike the usual you have at other places. The chili is definitely very spicy.

nia shoyu ramen 1-1 soup was not too salty, light but flavourful. noodles were cooked well 🙂 paid $7.50 for 2 bowls which was quite worth. was told by staff that the shoyu ajitama cannot be ordered from the machine, but that ramen consisted of only corn, egg and bean sprouts... note that the restaurant is really small and squeezy, and you have to order first before you get your seats.

Salted Egg Crab Ramen We decided to try them yet I ended up trying a fusion ramen. This is from their Singapore menu and I always chuckle when Takagi associates itself with anything Singapore. I don't know why the broth is separate, because the noodles were too dry on their own. I ended up adding the broth, which was damn weird mixed with the salted egg sauce. The crab is a soft-shell crab. I don't wanna be too harsh but their ramen failed for me because the noodle was tougher than when you order hard ramen. And I verified it because my kaedama portion was equally hard.

XL Wagyu Menchikatsu Burger I know Mos wagyu is probably not real wagyu, but I was quite excited to hear about a fried wagyu patty. The XL refers to the patty, as the bun is the same small Mos bun. You can select curry sauce, but I went for katsu sauce. Overall it was a good combination, but don't expect much from either the wagyu or the katsu. It's basically a typical beef patty that's fried.

Snack Box and Chilli Dog I had their snack box, consisting of Mos Burger’s famed fried chicken, onion rings and french fries. When the food came, it was piping hot. Onion rings came in large rings, where you could actually taste the onions. Fried chicken was crispy and juicy, and I love that the bone was only for the tip. I also had the chilli dog, lathered with chili con carne and topped with onions. The sausage always tastes great - you could never go wrong with it.

Kakiage Rice Burger Usually my go-to order, although this time somehow it wasn't that great.

Ipoh Horfun Ipoh the city of mountains? (山城). Had the smoooth horfun in chicken broth and prawns. Must say the horfun is so smooth you can slurp it all up and the chicken broth isnt too salty, so you can finish it all. The prawns are also a good addition, also adding a tinge of spice to it. It's slightly pricier at $7.60, also ft the shaoxing rice chicken at the back. Tho kudos to the boss for bringing more Ipoh food to sg. It's also having a 15% promotion as it just opened in Amk b2

My favourite bubble tea till date! Hands down to my favourite bubble tea till date! ChiCha San Chen's tea is brew to order. Quality tea, very aromatic and flavourful. Pearls are cooked soft and chewy, very addictive! I ordered their Dong Ding Oolong Tea (50% sugar), which achieved the Highest International Authority iTQi certification (International Taste & Quality Institute) in 2017. This award is like equivalent to a Michelin 3 stars! Wow! 😍 This is one of the strongest tea flavour I have tasted for a bubble tea, very fragrant and ain't overpowering by the milk. I liked their overall rustic environmentally friendly packaging, using paper sleeves instead of those plastic sleeves, holding the bubble tea cup and straw with a twine string. Very thoughtful of them. Can't wait for my next visit to try their other tea selections!

Spicy Kebab Ramen Ajisen Ramen has introduced their new concept at their outlet in AMK Hub, Ajisen Tanjiro offering authentic kebab ramen together with Ajisen Ramen’s usual menu. The kebab ramen use kebab meat shavings straight from doner kebab, with their signature tonkotsu broth. I would say the portion of the kebab pieces is sufficient for me. The spicy version can be very spicy, but their also served it in non-spicy version as well as the dry version. Go for the set that comes with pieces of gyoza and tea.
