Lobster with Chef's Superior Broth ($12/100g) Flagging up this Lobster with Chef's Superior Broth ($12/100g) to all seafood enthusiasts! House of Seafood (@houseofseafood.sg) is best known for their plump and fresh crabs but this lobster dish is simply astonishing. Yes, the lobster is fresh with sweet and succulent meat. 😋 That creamy, buttery, savoury-sweet, intensely flavourful sauce cooked from housemade superior broth which made me cleaned the plate and I'm not ashamed of it. 😆

Black Pepper Crab Doesn't matter if it is wet or dry version, I have my hands all over the Black Pepper Crab as long as it is tasty! This regal and gigantic (check out those Thor-like claws) crab weighs at about 1kg is not a lightweight fighter in a heavy armor. It is full of plump, moist and sweet crab meat. The crab tasted heavenly after skinny dipping in the thick paste-like peppery sauce. 😋

House Special Fried White Bee Hoon ($10) Unlike the usual fried white bee hoon that is light in flavour and cooked in clear or white broth, this House Special Fried White Bee Hoon ($10) from House of Seafood (@houseofseafood.sg) is stir fried with XO Sauce which exudes strong seafood aroma and taste. Check out that tasty-looking broth 😚! The gentle spicy flavour of XO sauce goes beautifully well with the simple white bee hoon, veggies, fresh prawns, fish slices and chewy squid.

一品砂煲豆腐 The seafood claypot beancurd is quite nice. Traditional hor fun did bring back good memories. Bought on Burpple the $100 voucher for $50 only. Worth it!

Fun Meal for Group Interesting experience with the seafood tower. Great for people who are not a fan of raw seafood! I love that all of the items were steamed/cooked. It's not stellar like ECP restaurants, but I thought it was okay for its price. The soup at the end and toppings really made it a super filling meal

More Food After conquering the great catch of South Pole, we are still hungry so we venture out to explore more food to throw inside the heavily oceanic sweet Tom Yum broth. What we baited, Fish Paste($8) - Fishy bouncy ball. Ebiko Prawn Paste($10) - Briny flavoursome smooth prawny ball. Prawn Dumpling(L-$8) - Nothing special. Smooth thin skin with prawn in it. Chive Pork Dumpling(L-$8) - Take quite some time to cook as the skin was thick thick, meat wise was okay. First off, this dish is perfect for those who hate the hassle of peeling crab meat from the shells, as all the meat is de-shelled and wrapped up inside the bun with the chilli crab sauce! Taste-wise, the sauce is a nice mix of sweet and spicy, and is generously filled with crab meat too! The bun itself has a crusty exterior while the interior is soft and fluffy. The last sushi The last sushi came with a smoky show. Sushi was packed with uni and tuna and I really enjoyed it! Price we paid $460 for 2pax of the Uni special burpple Omakase. (With two highballs) Would come back again as food is good and staff is nice.

Burpple Beyond Set For Two ($39) Visited the place during dinner time! The place is small and there were no seats, so the staff seated us at the tables inside Kajiken instead (1 shop down, beside Onkei Tonkatsu). Seems like the three eateries are affiliated~ There was no yakitori available on that day so the staff allowed us to replace it with their usual other sides, and we opted for the mentai hotate and mentai tamago (not pictured because we already ate them 🤣). Both were quite nice! BB set comes with a don of your choice, salad, free-flow hot/cold green tea and miso soup. The chirashi don has a sizeable portion of mixed sashimi however there’s also non-sashimi items inside (cooked prawn and japanese scallop). Interesting additions but my personal preference would be for the mixed sashimi to have more sashimi varieties and less octopus 🐙

Decent food for the price Paid $38 for this 1-1 deal. Pretty decent and fresh chirashi bowl for the price, got 1 mentaiko and 1 normal. Set comes with green tea, salad and yakitori. Very filling meal even though the chirashi bowl looks small. Will not pay full price for this though, as the food quality is very much average, but it’s value for money for the burpple price paid. Place was very small and squeezy, ambience is poor especially if you want to sit there and chill. This is more for a takeaway/ “fast food” joint. Staff was friendly though, and offered us a seat at the tonkatsu place beside (which was relatively more spacious). Service was good.

Prompt and excellent service The place is pretty small but the waitress is very helpful to get us a table next door selling tonkatsu. (I think they are under the same company) Ordered 2 sets of the same item. Pricing is around $38 for 2 sets. So far I have experienced positive service experience over at this Paya Lebar outlet as this is not the first outlet which I have gone to. Will be back again :)
