Something new from Roots. The prawns were large but I felt the flavor hadn't really soaked in. Still prefer the fried chicken though
Newly opened Roots on Gaya Street, has one of the best Nasi Lemak around. The rice which was fragrant and flavorful arrived steaming hot and accompanied by freshly fried chicken in ayam goreng berempah style. The sambal was not too too sweet but could be spicier for my taste. It's nice to see a premium coffee shop deliver on a dish when some of the franchised versions turn out mediocre fare.
Something different from Roots.
