With a huge selection that you are able to customise with additional toppings, we got their most basic Classic ($8.50) that contains peanuts and chocolate rice. True to its legendary status, both of were defeated eventually as we couldn’t devour the entire beast. The unique combination of the nuttiness to the chocolaty sweetness, a slight savoury touch from the generous spread of margarine and drizzle of condensed milk gives this martabak manis its crowning glory of being bestowed the pancake boss.

We ordered the original martabak, peanut chocolate cheese.
The texture is soft & chewy, not too sweet, and the skin is not thick, the filling quite generous.
Definitely one of the best authentic martabak at Singapore.

Classic choc and cheese martabak. It might be daunting that they only sell the whole slab but don’t worry it will be gone in no time. The martabaks here are very authentic. Don’t be cheated by other martabaks in pasar malam. 🤭

This was pretty huge, for sharing of course!
Definitely tasted better than it looked.
After waiting time of 15 minutes, the familiar smell of pancake (Martabak) was served.
The thick fluffy bamboo charcoal base black pancake was oozed with lemon cream cheese, every bite was awesome.
Overall, pretty gooey and mouthful of yummy treats.
