The gong bao chicken pot comes with four spice levels to choose from and I added noodles and mushrooms which soaked up the broth nicely. The base had that bold savoury‑spicy kick with a touch of sweetness, though the chicken portion felt modest. Like other chicken pot, they’ve got the colour‑plate add‑on system for extra ingredients which makes it easy to customise. Affordable and flavourful but I’d have liked a bigger serving and a stronger match between portion and price 》$16.90 (Small) + $6 Add-On

The spicy chicken cubes (辣子鸡) never fails. It’s crunchy, fiery with chilies, peanuts and sweet onions that round out the heat. The shredded potato (土豆丝)is my other staple, crisp and tangy with that addictive bite.

First time adding mapo tofu to the mix . It’s silky smooth and savoury, though lighter on the numbing spice than expected. Still, it’s a gentle balance to the bolder dishes.

This has quickly become one of my go-to casual meals in the neighbourhood, especially when the craving for China-style flavours kicks in.

The crispy, fragrant chicken is packed with texture from the crunchy peanuts, capsicum and onions. The spice level is just right, not too overpowering but enough to keep things exciting. Its savoury, slightly salty profile pairs perfectly with rice, while the tangy shredded potatoes add a refreshing contrast, keeping the meal balanced without dulling its bold flavours.

Unhealthy preoccupation with this stall. Anyway this visit reminded me they're not great quality. But still edible lah.

Sometimes you just meet a stall that's so ordinary but you love. This is a basic stall with clearly basic hawkers. But the portion and the indulgent flavours just made me happy.

From Hui Wei. It looks impressive, given the fish and the pork, but overall it's unmemorable.
