Can I announce this cake smell SO GOOD! I want to eat it everyday! It’s not overly sweet. You can eat a few slices and don’t feel jelak! Love it. A little bit pricy though. $16 for this.
I followed my nose to the coffee shop where this stall was located. The baker was baking butter cake. Wah the smell was out of this world, but I resisted and got the flavors I had already set my heart on. They were available in half or whole loaf. Matcha was slightly dry. Both tasted good.
Japanese style matcha pound cake with azuki red beans, good stuff! You can taste that slight green tea bitterness, best to go with a hot cup of tea at home. I love my Tiong Bahru!
Stumbled upon a bakery at a corner of an old fashioned coffee shop and grabbed half a loaf of matcha azuki cake and a blackcurrant muffin. Looking so yummy!
