This was generously piled with hearty pork belly, braised egg for the colour & black fungus for the crunch. We chose to add on their Braised Sides ($2) which includes mushrooms, tau pok, peanuts & salted vegetables.

They’re currently not serving lava egg (won’t that be great) as many returning customers are elderlies who prefer this traditional style braised egg, though I sure hope to see that as an option in the future! Also personally wished that the pork belly here could be sweeter & braised for a longer time for a softer bite, but this still makes a pretty decent meal when I’m around the hood ☺️

The deeply braised porcine shank provided intense chewing pleasure, with the sexiest part being the gelatinous, obscenely sticky bits close to the bone which made for some fairly R21 oral moments. 4.1/5
