$10.50 and u get battered varieties: fish chunk, Ebi, eggplant, "paper-thin" pumpkin, sweet potato, mushroom, celery assortment. It's a shame that they are greasy with a noticeable "oil" note. Skip this.
The beef slices are mediocre - neither too tough not tender. The terriyaki sauce is very flavorful but the carrot slice seems to have aged with wrinkles at the edge. $10 is a hearty bowl.
A bit more careful in the salt helping, somewhat pale in taste but the rice has a good bite. Very ordinary and a generous serving for a $9.
Unlike the seasoned octopus as pictured, this "hotate" or scallop version is sliced and served. $4.80/generous serving isn't a bad idea if u are expecting a squid and not a octopus dish.
