The way I see it, Mad Jack Cafe is very similar to Swenson's in many ways. Below is my brutally honest report card on the three desserts I tried on my maiden trip here.
1) Tiramisu: Cannot make it. The sponge fingers were terribly dry, coffee flavour was weak and there was hardly any cream to be seen.
2) Mad Choc Lover Cake: Even more cannot make it. Something about it just tasted off.
3) Chocolate Brownie: Surprisingly very good! Especially since it's heated up before being served. So the chocolate bits within becomes lava-like while the outside has a crisp crunch.
Looks pretty good and huge, well it definitely is. But I was just way too hungry that day, that that wasn't enough haha! But rly good lunch I must say
