Probably just a food court in a very small neighbourhood but it have some of the best food like this one. Famous for their western food and fried chicken, but I decided to try their fish & chop first which never disappoint me. Crispy skin on the outside but soft fish meat inside. $6
Great food for affordable price. Many choices of food, eat one month also wonβt sian
when in marsling, eat this. and always remember to ask for "εθ₯η¦" for your char siew. is like 50/50 fats and meat. but thats just half the order won. victory is only yours when they really "browse" through their stock to find you your cut. funny why one is happy when you further dealt your body with ill damage when you find charred bits on your meat.
From Shi Mei Shao La Ji Fan at the above mentioned coffeeshop at Blk 211 Marsiling Crescent. Went down thanks to fellow tastemaker Fabian Poon's post about it, and I must say that this is one of the best Char Siew I have had from Woodlands (don't take my word too much on this; I don't dine in Woodlands enough despite living there). Asked for fatty char siew; pretty chunky and juicy with lots of bite especially for the larger chunks, and some pieces actually had some crispy char. Would definitely prefer it to be a little less sweet though; I like my char siew to come with a balance of honey sweetness and porky flavour. That being said though, it's one spot I would consider going to since it's just a stone's throw away from me. They also have roasted pork, duck and soya chicken on the menu, though the noodles are sadly taken off, leaving rice as the only option to go along with the meats.
Located in Marsiling Drive, This stall serving Bee Hoon, kway teow and carrot cake provide excellent and consistent quality. Their bee hoon and kway teow is fried to perfection with delicoous seasoning and chili and provide reasonable portion. A must try if you live near the area! The stall owner is not very friendly though, and I suspect that that may have hindered her from getting more orders each day.
for me, the quest for good char siew never ends. so be it nestled deep inside marsiling, if its good, its on my radar. see the good ratio of fats and meat in this picture! marination is executed very well the HK, KL way and i like it that the char siew is charred a little to give that extra burnt flavor!
