LiXin Teochew Fishball Noodle (ESR BizPark @ Chai Chee)

The modern bar Chor mee that leaves me astounded. The bowl of fishballs are so fresh, soup is light and rich w soy bean and the noodles is aldente. The sauce is so creamy when mixed w the onsen egg. Good crunch from the fried wanton skin as well.

Noodles and fish balls are so QQ, but the sauce is a little too overwhelming. Nonetheless, it’s a good bowl of fishball noodles (thought you might want to ask them for less sauce going forward)

I ordered Dry Mee Kia which costs $4.50 per bowl. Comes with 5 large fishballs. The fishballs are not handmade but they are soft and not too salty but lacks umami. Noodles are al dente enough. Chilli was spicy but not fragrant. I felt that the chilli, soya sauce and ketchup was a tad too much as it threatened to thicken my bowl of noodles after taking just a few photos.

Not sure if I’ll come back again for this, considering it is so far for me.
