Rochelle Canteen is kind of difficult to get to, and really hard to find. It is only open for breakfast (I haven't tried) and lunch on weekdays. Incredibly inconvenient, I know... But if you can get there, the food is so worth the trek!! Really good ingredients, spot on cooking, no pretense. Perfect.

Definitely one of my favourite places in London! Japanese udon (and more) made with seasonal British produce. Fab!
And the bad main was saved by a cracker of a dessert! Textures of butternut squash (I won't spoil the surprise- it's part of the enjoyment!) and popcorn. Powwow!
