Came to Ingleside with pretty high expectations because of the hype around their woodfire and fermentation concept, and they definitely delivered.

The French Oysters are a great way to start—super clean, and the smoked kelp vinegar gives a nice sharp bite. The absolute must-order is the Wagyu Tartare. It’s served in a split bone marrow bone, and they mix the beef with coffee shoyu and chicken garum. It’s rich, savory, and incredibly satisfying without feeling too heavy.

For mains, the dry-aged Channel Rockfish had the perfect smoky, crispy skin while staying super juicy inside, topped with a punchy herb-anchovy sauce. The Tajima Wagyu Steak was perfectly medium-rare, served simply with sea salt and a sweet roasted shallot. Oh, and don't sleep on the Charred Caulilini side dish—that red bean miso butter is addictive. Definitely a spot for serious food lovers.

Had an amazing dinner at One Prawn & Co! Every dish tasted just as spectacular as it looked.

We started with the excellent Hamachi Tartare. For the mains, the Wood-Fired Scorched Hor Fun and the unique Haricot Vert over Burrata were fantastic. The ultimate highlight was the massive Grilled Prawns in an ultra-rich bisque reduction—absolutely unforgettable.

Great service and stunning food. Highly recommend for your next foodie night out! 🥂

I haven't been to Gu Zao Ren in 9 years, and returning felt like a warm hug. The food is just as authentic and comforting as I remembered! The simple sweet potato porridge pairs perfectly with all their savoury side dishes. The braised pork belly with preserved mustard greens still melts in your mouth, and the stir-fried pork liver is perfectly glazed. I also loved the hotplate egg tofu and the intensely flavourful dark soy-marinated cockles. Highly recommend this spot for a nostalgic, satisfying meal!

Nai Nai Flavor brings popular Hangzhou comfort food to the East. The spread I had was visually stunning and incredibly satisfying. The savoury items included Old Shaoxing Steamed Soup Dumplings 老绍兴蒸汤包 and a brilliantly crispy, deep-fried Youbu Style Egg Cake 游埠鸡子粿. Also enjoyed some crisp golden Brown Sugar Glutinous Rice Cake 红糖滋粑 accompanied by refreshing Guava & Peach Drink 芭乐水蜜桃. The star of the meal for me was the soul-warming Grandma’s Secret Dishes 奶奶传承神仙鸡. Wrapped up the meal with a beautifully presented glass teapot of sweet Traditional Style Double Boiled Pear with White Fungus 古法银耳吊梨汤, which was a light and soothing finish. A perfect spot for a comforting meal!
