We ordered the eight-course set meal, and the grilled oyster stood out with its appetising, slightly tangy sauce that made for a refreshing start. The prawn toast was also enjoyable, with bouncy prawn paste and perfectly crunchy toast. The seafood dishes were excellently cooked, and the use of different sauces really complemented their textures and flavours. The meal ended on a nostalgic note with delightful ice cream sandwiches.
Particularly enjoyed the chicken rice with the charred rice — the brown bits added an extra depth of flavour compared to regular chicken rice. The portions for all dishes were generous, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a lovely café to relax and hang out with friends.
