Pleasant environment for a chill evening. Had the Roasted Duck pizza, Chilli Lobster Linguine and the Pangium Beef.
Pizza was crispy and flavourful. The Chilli Lobster sauce was spicy on point, satisfying yet it doesnt sweat you out. The Pangium Beef was super tender, the meat was so soft that it melts in the mouth!
For the cocktails, my partner and I had the White Sands and the Wish Upon the Lantern. Super intriguting experience, with the White Sands being an edible cocktail and the interesting short "performance" by sending our wishes through burning.
Highly recommended for those who are looking to chill for the evening after a long day of work or over the weekends with friends!
First visit to One Prawn & Co, made reservation for two for the evening.
We were being directed to the counter where we get to see the chefs perform their magic on the dishes.
Ordered the Prawn Toast & Aioli and the Beef Bulgogi and Bafun Uni for starters. Prawn Toast was super crispy and the prawn paste was super juicy. Beef Bulgogi has a generous amount of Uni served too.
For mains, my partner and I had the RibEye and the Kingfish Head. We were extremely surprised at the size of the Fish head, it was fresh and well cooked, seasoning was well flavoured too. For the RibEye, it was well grilled, with a tint of smoked taste and juicy inside.
All in all, highly recommend this restaurant. Staff was friendly and responsive to any request and it was just so interesting to witness the preparation behind the scene.
Visited Paradise Pizza at Holland Grove on a Wednesday evening. Restaurant has a cool chill vibe to it, really suits anyone who is looking to relax and enjoy the evening.
For sharing we had the deep fried burrata. While it is fried, it is not oily and we were pleased with the amount of creamy fillings within it. The cream taste was light in the right way, not those up in your taste bud kind of cheesy.
We had the Hot Assam Pizza too, had to try it as my partner is a fan of Assam Laksa. Assam paste is quite flavourful, yet it is not spicy and sour like the actual bowl of soup. Crust is thin and soft, easy to bite through with a tinge of crisp from the baking.
For the Wagyu Bolognese, which again, my partner insisted to have it since she is a fan of tomato based pasta. Personally I am not a huge fan of Tomato based as the taste is often too strong. But surprisingly this Wagyu Bolognese was in the right spot, with a tinge of Wagyu and Pork taste in it. For those tomato based pasta lover, you will definitely enjoy it more than I did.
I finally have the opportunity to decide for desserts, we ordered the Tiramisu. Super creamy and soft, espresso and chocolate taste was just right too, not too sweet not too strong, just the way i like it. Definitely a must-try for desserts lover!
First visit to Sushi Muni, the restaurant had a very authentic and atas vibe.
Chef David was our Omakase chef of the day. He was very friendly and introduced each dishes to us passionately.
The food was well prepared, with fresh and well seasoned ingredients. Chef David is also very experienced in preparing the sushi with the right amount of rice and wasabi.
The sushi rice was brown, seasoned with vinegar, which tasted surprisingly good.
Slow-cooked Scallop was wonderful too, bursting with flavours from the well executed seasoning.
My favourite were the fatty tunas dishes, super smooth and buttery.
Overall great experience, would totally recommend those who have yet to experience Omakase. Just sit back, relax and let the Chefs do their magic!
Have always wanted to come and try since I occasionally passby on the way to office.
Came down specially on the weekends
Ordered the Supreme Prawn Noodles (Soup) and the Prawn Paste Wings as it looked too good to pass on.
Soup is surprisingly sweet and flavorful, filled with seafood taste. The wings were also crispy and juicy inside.
Highly recommend to those who love Prawn mee
