Local ๐ธ๐ฌ
One thing that makes their gelatos stand out are the artisanal locally-inspired flavours, in which the botanical ingredients are gently infused. My favourite so far is definitely the ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ป, as the natural grassiness was distinctive yet subtle enough that it wasnโt too overwhelming to finish the entire scoop. The other one I really loved was the ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ that was light and refreshing on the palate.
Another pull factor is definitely the freshly handmade cones (you can watch them make it from the glass window) that attracted me in the first place. The crispy cones have hints of thyme, making that extra dollar super worth it.
Quick notes on the other flavours that I tried:
- ๐ฝ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐ผ: very smooth, earthy and rich - yums!
- ๐น๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฝ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐: tangy sweetness with fruity and floral drops, above average
- ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ-๐๐ฎ๐น๐ ๐ต๐ผ๐ท๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ: too roasted and bitter for my liking, would skip
- ๐บ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ป๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ ๐ด๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐๐ท๐ฎ: reminded me of Nutella, a bit too rich for me
The only downside is that there is a constant queue and you canโt try the flavour before making up your mind

When I first arrived here in Singapore, I was literally thirsty ALL THE TIME and constantly on the lookout for drinks to beat the heat ๐
Local coconut-based brand @mr.coconutsg kept up popping up in every shopping mall I went, so I finally decided to give it a try ๐ซ
Loved that we could customise our own drinks by choosing the sugar level, toppings and cup size on the self-ordering kiosk near the cashier ๐๐ป
The tropical juice would be the more refreshing and thirst-quenching option, but I personally preferred the milky and fragrant coconut shake that was sweet enough even without any sugar ๐ฅ
Located on the upper floor of Bedok Market Place (a nicely furnished hawker centre close to Changi airport), we visited @rongguangbbq to taste ๐ธ๐ฌ national delicacies

The sweet and spicy sauce was like a flavour party to our taste buds - there were hints of egg, ketchup and even ginger flower ๐ฆ๏ธ Besides complementing the fresh crab, it also went really well with a bowl of white rice, but the real Singaporean way is to pair with fried mantous ๐

This was my first time trying stingray and the unique meat texture totally caught me off guard - it kind of melted in my mouth, but was still firm at the same time ๐ฒ A bit spicy, but still highly recommended!

Crispy, juicy, tender - would you believe me if I told you that I ate 5 pieces all by myself? ๐
