Garlic, chili, furikake and seaweed tossed through spaghetti make for a light yet flavourful base. The tiger prawns were fresh with a nice crunch, giving the dish a satisfying bite 》$24

Al-dente spaghetti tossed in fragrant shallot oil with tender smoked duck, enoki mushrooms and a silky onsen‑style egg to bring it all together. The bonito flakes add a smoky, umami lift.

Loved the balance of textures and flavours. A fusion dish that’s rich and easy to finish 》$12.90

Spaghetti in a creamy parmesan sauce, lifted by smoky bacon and earthy mushrooms. Not fancy, just a good bowl of creamy spaghetti that’s easy to enjoy 》$23

Spaghetti tossed with green beans, broccoli, sugar snap peas, pinenuts, pesto and parmesan. It’s a clean, veggie-forward plate that’s light with a good mix of crunch and creaminess. The pesto’s fragrant without being overpowering and the cheese adds a nice savoury lift 》$21

Casa Vostra has quickly become one of the most popular Italian spots in town, drawing long queues thanks to Chef Antonio’s reputation from La Bottega Enoteca and its prime location at Raffles City. With no reservations, the wait can be long but good things are worth it.

The crab tagliatelle was a recommendation. The handmade pasta had that perfect bite, silky yet firm and the sauce carried real depth. Between the sweet crab, tomato confit, fresh basil, anchovies, olive oil and a touch of red chilli, I could taste that there was a lot going on in the base with layers of savoury, sweet and subtle spice working together. The chilli was gentle, more of a warmth than a kick, letting the crab and herbs shine. It’s a dish that feels both comforting and complex, unfussy yet clearly well thought out 》$26

Linguine is tossed with tender chicken, onions, tomatoes and bell peppers, all coated in their spicy Cajun sauce. The sauce has a nice balance of heat and smokiness, with just enough tang from the tomatoes to keep it fresh. A satisfying option if you’re craving pasta with a kick 》$14.90

The mafaldine had that perfect chewy bite with ruffled edges that clung onto all the flavour. It came slicked in garlicky chilli oil, more hum than heat but still aromatic. The crab was sweet and generous and the zucchini added a fresh crunch that broke up the richness nicely 》$28

Pasta with Thai & Italian flavours cooked al dente with prawns, fish, clams and squid. The flavours are intense and spot on - sweet, sour, spicy and salty which offers satisfaction. Interesting and flavourful 》$19.80

The al-dente squid ink tagliatelle has just the right bite, complemented by tender crab meat and bursts of juicy cherry tomatoes. A bright, tangy sauce ties it all together, delivering a fresh and well-balanced finish that keeps each forkful delightful 》$28

I go for the handmade tagliatelle as my choice of pasta and this time I decided to have it with their crabmeat pasta with white wine.

The crabmeat pasta comes with lumps of crabmeat, shallots, garlic and cherry tomatoes tossed in white wine sauce, garnished with parsley. The pasta was done al-dente, portions of crabmeat were generous and flavours leaned on the lighter side. The cherry tomatoes add some colour along with sweet and tangy flavours to the dish.

A cheesy pasta laced with pungent umami flavours of truffle. The dish came with plenty of cheese (blue cheese, mozzarella and parmesan) and a touch of truffle oil brings out the flavour. Served piping hot in an iron skillet with the crust perfectly crispy. Creamy cheesy goodness so sinful but extremely delicious.
