English Breakfast / Brunch 🍞🥞🥓🍳
The flavourful and filling British breakfast platter makes a good hearty meal, consisting of a choice of egg (poached, scrambled, sunny-side up), bockwurst, sautéed cremini mushrooms, streaky bacon, tater tots, grilled tomato and sourdough. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, creamy and well-seasoned. Tater tots were well done, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sausage was juicy while tomato and bacon were standard.
The truffle tater tots are right on point with the truffle seasoning and generous shavings of parmesan cheese. The servings are huge and portions are large enough to share among 4 pax. It comes with a slight scent of truffle, retaining its crispy-crunchy exterior and soft interior.
Overall, the food was great too & prices are much more affordable than many other cafes.

Juicy grapes sitting atop ricotta cheese spread on a fluffy and thick brioche drizzled with lavender-infused honey, topped with grounded pistachio and matcha powder 》$15
Other than looking interesting and aesthetically tasty, I find the taste pretty expectable. The taste of ricotta was light and the scent of lavender was stronger than the taste of matcha powder on the grapes. The grapes were fresh, plump and juicy which did not disappoint. I would say the toast was done so well that it did not turn soggy even till the last bite. Something light and simple yet pleasing.
Homemade potato hash patty served alongside smoked salmon, baby spinach leaves, sour cream, poached egg, radish slices, ikura and microgreens.
Smoked salmon and poached eggs served on sourdough, topped with homemade hollandaise and a side of seasonal greens.
A hearty big breakfast with a well-balanced variety of ingredients and flavours. The Steep’s breakfast includes sourdough, choice of eggs (I chose scrambled), turkey bacon, avocado, mushroom, herb sausage, mixed greens, tater tots and roasted tomato.
This is a nice and cosy place to chill over brunch but the space is rather small with limited seatings so it’s best to visit during a not-so-busy time of the day. They are quite generous with the servings. The scrambled egg was rich & creamy and everything else just went well together.

Made up of brioche, maple granola, fresh fruits (blueberry, strawberry & kiwi) and toasted almonds then topped with a dollop of mascarpone, berry compote and honey thyme syrup by the side. If you are looking for something sweet then this is the only sweet option on the menu.
The toast was perfectly done to a soft, eggy and fluffy texture with a nice butter fragrance. The maple granola added crunch and balances the texture to this dish. The dollop of light and creamy mascarpone complement well with the berry compote

Caramelised banana, strawberries, blueberries, candied walnuts and salted caramel
The brioche was crispy on the outside, pillowy soft and moist on the inside but lacks the eggy flavour. The candied walnuts add a nice slight crunch to the texture.

Pulled pork, two poached eggs, hollandaise, pinto bean and corn tomato salsa, arugula, pea shoots, peri-peri sauce, Hokkaido brioche.
Poached eggs are done perfectly and pulled pork shreds are sweet. The Hokkaido brioche slice was thick with a crispy crust on the outer side, soft and fluffy in the middle. This makes a hearty and satisfying breakfast.

Shakshuka can be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The dish was brought to Israel by Tunisian Jews as part of the mass Jewish exodus from Arab and Muslim lands, where it has become a characteristic feature of the local cuisine.
I ordered the vegetarian option where sausages are replaced with mushrooms. Comes with 2 slices of lightly toasted sourdough brioche bread that is crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The eggs are soft and gooey. It would be better if the tomato base is less watery.

Grated truffle, fresh parma ham, scrambled eggs, market leaves, thick brioche toast.
Parma ham and creamy scramble eggs sitting on a thick buttery brioche toast. The scrambled eggs were silky and well seasoned and complements well with the saltiness of the parma ham and nice aroma from the grated truffle. Not to mention that the brioche toast was rich and thick. Simply delicious, filling and a hearty breakfast to start the weekend right.

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
