A convenient spot directly beside Punggol Golf Range, Tend Bistro is an izakaya with both indoor and alfresco areas, attracting a crowd mainly comprising of golf enthusiasts. We tried the yaki udon ($12) with chicken, mushrooms and leek. Wished this had more flavour though

If you’re a fan of unagi with sweet tare, you can try the unagi kabayaki ($28). With the succulent meat and good portion, this is definitely more value-for-money than the unagi don!

A recommended item, this dish is crispy though also a tad too oily for our liking 🫠

Our highlight from the previous visit, we got the same pork skewer platter consisting of pork belly wrapped around enoki mushroom, cherry tomato, leek and asparagus 🐖

This cozy spot is best known for their tonkatsu 🐽 We tried the Cheese Rosu-Katsu Set ($19.90). Coated with a layer of crispy breadcrumbs, the pork loin is stuffed with melted cheese 🧀 The set comes with rice (white or brown), tonjiru soup simmered for over 12 hours and pickles

Hidden on the 2nd floor of International Plaza, this cozy 9-seater restaurant is by the team who earned the Michelin Bib Gourmand Award in Kobe, Japan🏆
Known for their signature 𝗗𝗮𝗻-𝗗𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲 ($𝟭𝟵.𝟴𝟬), the restaurant uses up to 32 different spices for this dish!
The chewy noodles is coated with peanut-based sauce and served with shredded chashu, minced pork, white diced onions, fried onions, pickles, and mizuna. You’d also receive an onsen egg (served separately). A good variety of colours and textures in the bowl 🥺
Be sure to visit early before they sell out!

A ramen restaurant by the day and modern izakaya by the night, Kiwami stands out from its peers with its wide selection of ramen, mazesoba, gyoza and drinks 🍶
🌟 Aburi Miyazaki Wagyu Tonkotsu Ramen ($22.50)
Simmered for over 10 hours, this comforting bowl of ramen with torched Miyazaki Wagyu had me drooling in no time 🥹 Apart from the rich creamy tonkotsu broth, the ramen noodles also stood out with its springy texture 🍜🫶✨
