Second time back here n their fried lasagne is really out of this world 👽
Oysters were super plump and fresh, and paired amazingly well with the juicy ikura pearls 🥺 great dish to prepare your palate for the mains. Love the unique bank vault that they have converted to a sake cellar. Vibes here are 💯
This was a huge plate of hot crispy nachos served with cheese and salsa that was the perfect companion to our drinks and the setting sun 😙 not pictured was the chicken satay that we devoured within seconds
Bubur chacha inspired cocktail that tasted like a decadent alcoholic dessert. Didn’t know dark rum would pair so well with taro ice-cream 😋
The food quality at this hidden Peranakan joint surprised me. Portions are slightly on the small side, but quality > quantity. Another plus point: cosy vibes and friendly staff : )
Pictured is the Tanuki Aburi Maki that was salmon and scallop wrapped over snow crab and unagi maki - very generous rolls for $16.90! Got the Sake Honey ($12) that entitled me for the happy hour bites: $2 oysters and $5 lobster salad and salmon bao. Yums
Recommending the Oven Baked Camembert ($18) bcos this was the surprise fav dish of the night! It was divinely paired with summer truffle n garlic toast 🥺 the other dishes (roasted pork, grilled lamb ribs, truffle risotto, roasted veggies) definitely delivered too! We ordered their butterfly pea, choc mint n le prince martinis that were delicious to drink. Had a great time : )
We were lucky to reserve a table for 4 at this cosy joint on a Fri night, the place was packed! It serves up yummy bar bites that pair amazing with their refreshing makgeolli. Star of the night was this L.A. Style Black Angus Kalbi that was beef short ribs marinated in a smoky sweet korean soy sauce 😍 the Yucha makgeolli was supposedly the least sweet but it was still pretty on the sweet side, altho VERY refreshing!!! Prices are a bit steep so would suggest to come with a larger group of friends
