One of the better high teas around. As soon as you sit down they serve you the quite substantial āmainā dishes, with dishes like chickens wings, salmon, laksa, char siew, etc. The usual high tea food comes later. Be prepared to be stuffed! Plus there is the option to add on free flow champagne.
Really nice decor, very chic with plants and interesting lighting. Had the galette No. 3 with mushrooms, egg and compte cheese. Very generous with the toppings. However it was a tad salty, probably because of the cheese. Would come back to try the other offerings.
Had the weekday set lunch. The set came with four dishes at $29 which was quite good value. Had a started of cauliflower hummus, a mezzo of seabass carpaccio, a chicken souvlaki and pictured here was the baklava dessert. All done well in a nice relaxed setting making you feel you could be at the beach. Staff were attentive and friendly.
Nice decor and ambiance. Sat by the bar and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The Lobster Roll was good though not great. The brioche bun was buttery and fluffy, the lobster was fresh but could have had more sweetness.
The food was good and well executed, though I felt a tad overpriced. The decor was nice, though a bit cold and sparse. Overall a pleasant place, but lacked that little bit extra.
Tried the mixed dumplings, Borscht soups, herring salad and pork stew. Generally all were flavorful and comforting. Interesting having Russian food in Singapore, not something you get often. The food here is what I imagine home cooked Russian food to be.
Ordered the Fatteh Breakfast, which was falafel, halloumi, poached eggs and pita bread. This was very filling and tasty, and something different from the usual brunch options. The restaurant was very beautifully decorated, great place for a lazy brunch.
Nice spot in the middle of Orchard to have a quick catch-up or break from shopping. The menu is quite limited, but nicely executed. They have a wide drinks selection, which are reasonably priced.
