We had the chicken burger and was pleasantly surprised that the patty wasnt dry at all.
It was also great to have the chicken flavour boosted by the saltiness of the bacon. A great companion to beer.

Sides wise, the yakitori was nothing special, but give the otah bombs a try. Think fish fingers, but otah.

+1 for service too because the staff poked a hole in the cover of the takeaway boxes so the food wasnt soggy by the time i brought it home

Beef patty was nice and juicy, and the flavours were nicely complemented by the sourness of the jalapenos.

The restaurant's background music also made for a relaxed vibe.

Great service too who took the time to explain the nature of each dish and what made each one special.

A worthy meal to celebrate the easing of covid restrictions.

Looking forward to going back to try their other dishes

Wagyu beef burger ($25++)
Loved how the bun was toasted to create this crisp exterior yet retain its fluffiness.

Would also recommend eating the fries quick as they were very crispy when they arrived. Plus point too that it was salted to the right amount.

Patty was well seasoned, and came with cheese and caramelised onions. But some might find the patty a bit dry.

Overall the burger was good, but so high is the standard there that i'd recommend trying their beef cheeks or pasta. Topping up three dollars for the fresh pasta is definitely worth it.

Ieat Super burger ($15.90)
Have always loved the super burger cuz of its crisy onions. Most burgers just have bits of onions, but astons' is practically a layer of deep fried onions which are good enough to eat on its own.

Theres something about the way the various burger elements all come together, especially with the sweet bbq sauce.

The patty is juicy, and theres a level of freshness thanks to the presence of the vegetables too.

Note that Andes is halal certified. So you get ham instead of bacon. Would fully recommend youbget the original one at Astons to enjoy the burger to its fullest (and further burst your calorie counter)

Had the spicy chicken burger ( $7.20 via deliveroo).
While not extraordinary, it is slightly better than ordinary.

Patty was crispy without being too dry. Its a bit less spicy than a mcspicy, but still has enough kick. It also had this interesting pink with crunchy onion bits.

Buns were also nice and soft, althoughbmy friends felt it was a bit too soft for their liking.

Beef burger was good. Loved how each patty had a nice char, which paired well with the sauce.

Skip the fries, especially since there's no set meal and you'll need to order them ala carte. The fries are quite common, like your typical western stall fries.

Meal was quite expensive too, with each burger costing about 9 dollars.
