Burgers 🍔

Had breakfast for dinner with @wildfireburgers.sg's The Eggstarter. Added spam to this and it was a sinful yet comforting burger with the creamy eggs and tasty spam 😋 Completed the meal with crispy tater tots and it was a really filling meal too!

Finally tried @nbcbsg after hearing so much about it and it was good! I got a NBCB which is a cheeseburger with a single party and added a sunny side up to it. Love how there are options to add ingredients to the burgers and loved how the buns were fluffy and the patty was juicy too. Had them with criss cut fries and cheese sauce and the fries were really crispy even though they were drenched in sauce too. Will go back soon to try the other burgers and items!

Had the Smao Beef Burger at @clunyfoodcourt, one of @lesamisgroupsg's relatively new food establishments. I liked how the buns were crisp outside and fluffy inside, the patty was juicy and tasty plus the cheese and pickles added flavour to the burger. Priced affordably at $12 with fries and coleslaw, it's good for its price point and it was a very filling meal too!

Had @spagosingapore's 3 Course set lunch a while back and it was a good meal indeed! We had Chicken 'Laksa' Spring Roll and Big Eye Tuna Tartare Cones for the first course and I loved the Laksa Spring Roll because it was extremely crispy and flavourful, pulling off the laksa flavours very well. For the second course we had Miso Broiled Ora King Salmon and Grilled Angus Beef Burger. I enjoyed the beef burger more because even though it sounded more simple it was done well and each part of the burger was delicious. They also serve bread with butter and seaweed and I liked the focaccia and their seaweed butter too. Desserts will be up in my next post because they deserve another feature on their own. Overall, the service is good and food is yummy too! I'll want to come back to try the other items in the future 😋

@butcher_theburgerbar serves a variety of burgers at affordable prices that are delicious too! We had this bacon burger which has a juicy patty between fluffy buns, served with crispy fries. They also have chicken wings that were very tasty as well 😋 Would definitely go back for more one day!

Tried @shakeshacksg's new Roasted Garlic Mushroom Burger and liked the combination of the juicy patties, melted cheese, mushrooms caramelised in butter, garlic mayo and fried shallots. There were so many flavours and textures in this and I appreciated how the garlic flavour wasn't too strong too. My favourite burder is still the Shack Stack but I can see myself eating this when I want a change 😋 I didn't try the garlic fries because it was too hard to not choose cheese fries hehe 😅

Here's a continuation of my staycation at @capitolkempinski because I miss those days a lot 😍 I ordered room service for dinner one night because I was lazy and didn't want to leave the comfy room. The prices were rather reasonable for room service prices with mains costing about $20. I ordered a burger made of fluffy buns and a tender and juicy patty which was pretty tasty. The burger was served with thick cut fries which completed the meal well.

The textures were on point with the patty being crispy along with the fresh vegetables giving that crunch. However the flavours were really off for me. I got creamy mushroom but the patty's flavours overpowered the cream and there was barely mushroom. My seaweed fries barely had seaweed as well. I'm not a fan but I guess I would return if the flavours were more accurate and balanced.

Finally my turn to try the new ShackMeister Burger at @shakeshacksg! Only available at the Suntec City outlet till 5 November 2020, this burger has fried shallots marinated in beer in it. I enjoyed the extra crunch and the shallots were fragrant indeed. However I still prefer my favourite burger, the Shack Stack because I love cheese and Portobello mushrooms more hehe. Do give it a try if you like shallots though! They have ShackMeister Dog and ShackMeister Fries too.

Went down to @thegoodburgersg to claim my #burpplebeyond deal before it expires this month! I got my favourite, The Classic, and it was delicious. I enjoyed the fluffy buns and the juicy patty along with that slice of melted cheese. What a good deal indeed 😋😋

@wildfireburgers.sg sells affordable burgers in NAFA that are pretty decent. I had the truffle mushroom burger which had fluffy buns holding a slightly juicy patty with mushroom and melted cheese. We had truffle fries which came in a generous portion for its price too. Food here was nice but it doesn't really stand out compared to the other burger places apart from their relatively lower price tag. I would have enjoyed the burger more if the patty was more juicy as some parts tended to be a bit too dry for my liking.
