Maybe its because of the "Belachan", i had the impression this would be super spicy, so i asked for mine to be done "less spicy", and it ended up being "no spicy" instead😹 Perhaps getting it at normal spice level would have been ideal...

No french fries but these are sooo much better ✨ Essentially fried potatoes, these were soo good the entire plate was wiped out in seconds. Our homestay owners obviously got the hint, with our subsequent meals having an increased amount of these deep fried goodness😌 Thought I would lose weight in India but apparently I was very wrong ya 😹

A snack called Khurma which got me addicted from the first bite, though the hardness/crunchiness of it deters quite a few (word of caution: don't bite on it with your front teeth unless you want to be toothless ya) Don't really know how to describe the taste, but they are essentially like fried dough sticks(?) Best part is that it costs only 1 Rupee per piece, which is like 2 cents..
