Okay I’m going to say it - I don’t get the hype. I expected the kimchi jigae to be more sour and the japchae to be sweeter. I liked the pork bulgogi though! I think this boils down to personal taste preference but all in all, one can’t complain when the food is at such an affordable price point.
So so sinful, but equally delicious. It was too sweet/salty though, needed to be eaten with rice or noodles to accompany the heavy flavours.
I wouldn’t say this place is very affordable, but service is great and food is pretty decent! The waitress helped us cook our meats and while she burnt our last meat dish a bit, we still appreciated them helping us cook our meat and topping up our banchan timely. The chicken feet was surprisingly good, but devilishly spicy. Love the potato salad and kimchi too! One down side here is that the army stew was quite salty.
That’s one bigggg seafood pancake. While a little on the thicker and doughier side, it was sufficiently crispy.
