Intense Indian Flavours

Came with high expectations and was not disappointed by food, ambience and service. Pictured is the Alaskan King Crab with Madras Curry Rice. The curry flavors went so well with the light rice texture. My other favourite dish was the grilled paneer roll with tomato chutney and cured hamachi with a very refreshing Sothi. Interesting to see both North and South Indian food coming together with a somewhat modern touch.

I am making return visits to Thevar. I felt that every dish is made with so much thought. The flavours were generally rich but each dish was so distinct from the other.

This chicken roti is packed with so much filling and the sauce that accompanied was rich but not overwhelming cause it was a small bite. I enjoyed all dishes that we ordered including the oysters, the button mushroom naan, the eggplant, croquettes, sri Lanka curry crab rice and chempedak (puff with light cream inside) Overall a fantastic meal! We paid 169 for 2.
