Didnโt expect such a huge bowl when I first got the ๐พ๐๐๐ง๐๐จ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐จ๐๐ฃ๐๐ค๐ฃ (~$26.90). My stack of sashimi with squid, salmon,unagi , shrimp, abalone etc seemed never ending โ not like Iโm complaining ๐คช For the price and the freshness, I really canโt find a fault.

๐๐ง๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ก ๐๐ค๐ ๐ ๐ฝ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก (~$17) left me with mixed feelings. The addition of candied cashews was genius โ sweet and salty against the creamy guacamole and cold sashimi, but the salmon wasnโt the freshest to be frank. Not sure if this poke bowl justified the price tag ๐ค

For the Budget interactive beef donburi experience. You get the ๐ฝ๐๐๐ ๐๐ช๐ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ ๐ ๐ฟ๐ค๐ฃ (~$14.90) cooked in front of you, and with sides to match up, this was real value for money.๐

A tad bit tough (perhaps request for your beef to be less done) but getting the sweet-savoury profile right, slices upon slices of beef and fluffy Kohshihikari rice made my dinner. ๐ฅบ

Special mention to the chawanmushi too: crazy smooth and regular custardy texture; yes, no watery lumpy chawan!!! ๐ณ๐ณ

๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ช ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ฃ (~$45.60) presented juicy Wagyu slices beside a half Unagi. While it sat pretty in the rice box, the Unagi lacked the smoky charred burnt flavour I love. ๐ Drizzled with sweet Unagi sauce, spoonfuls of plump and oily Unagi mixed in well with the multi-grain rice.

Plump and meaty, the Unagi could almost be good. But with the overwhelming marinade and the heavy oiliness of the Unagi fighting for flavour dominance, I couldnโt enjoy this as much. ๐ฑ

For a lean cut, my pork was rather fatty, with layers of fat embedded into the lean meat. For some strange reason, the marinade worked better here, and if it wasnโt soggy by the time I ate this, I wouldโve enjoyed it more ๐ญ

Survived the jam break during the 10 min ride OTW home and still looking pretty, the ๐๐ง๐ช๐๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ช ๐ฟ๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ช๐ง๐ (~$38) with Ikura (+~$15) was crazily addictive. With melt in your mouth Wagyu, truffle slices and perfect grains of Japanese rice, idk what else youโd want in life tbh.

The Ikura was definitely worth the top up, the umami worked extremely well with the ingredients here.

With a generous portion of not too fatty beef, the ๐ฝ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ช (~$18) had potential. Perhaps consider drenching and mixing the rice with sweet sauce โ it was rather dry and clumpy. ๐

The ๐ผ๐๐ช๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ก๐ก๐ค๐ฅ ๐๐๐ก๐ข๐ค๐ฃ ๐ฟ๐ค๐ฃ (~$17) is hands down my go to bowl. Chunks of lightly torched salmon were soft to the bite, and the scallop flavoured well with an apparent truffle paste. ๐ฃ
