Didnโ€™t expect such a huge bowl when I first got the ๐˜พ๐™๐™ž๐™ง๐™–๐™จ๐™๐™ž ๐™†๐™–๐™ž๐™จ๐™š๐™ฃ๐™™๐™ค๐™ฃ (~$26.90). My stack of sashimi with squid, salmon,unagi , shrimp, abalone etc seemed never ending โ€” not like Iโ€™m complaining ๐Ÿคช For the price and the freshness, I really canโ€™t find a fault.

The addition of candied cashews was genius โ€” sweet and salty against the creamy guacamole and cold sashimi, but the salmon wasnโ€™t the freshest to be frank. Not sure if this poke bowl justified the price tag ๐Ÿค”

For the Budget interactive beef donburi experience. You get the ๐˜ฝ๐™š๐™š๐™› ๐™Ž๐™ช๐™ ๐™ž๐™ฎ๐™–๐™ ๐™ž ๐˜ฟ๐™ค๐™ฃ (~$14.90) cooked in front of you, and with sides to match up, this was real value for money.๐Ÿš

A tad bit tough (perhaps request for your beef to be less done) but getting the sweet-savoury profile right, slices upon slices of beef and fluffy Kohshihikari rice made my dinner. ๐Ÿฅบ

Special mention to the chawanmushi too: crazy smooth and regular custardy texture; yes, no watery lumpy chawan!!! ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿณ

๐™๐™ฃ๐™–๐™œ๐™ž ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™’๐™–๐™œ๐™ฎ๐™ช ๐™—๐™š๐™š๐™› ๐™™๐™ค๐™ฃ (~$45.60) presented juicy Wagyu slices beside a half Unagi. While it sat pretty in the rice box, the Unagi lacked the smoky charred burnt flavour I love. ๐Ÿ˜• Drizzled with sweet Unagi sauce, spoonfuls of plump and oily Unagi mixed in well with the multi-grain rice.

frankly, I donโ€™t get the hype. I donโ€™t mind eating the ๐˜ผ๐™—๐™ช๐™ง๐™ž ๐˜ฝ๐™ช๐™ฉ๐™– ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™๐™ฃ๐™–๐™œ๐™ž ๐˜พ๐™ค๐™ข๐™—๐™ค ๐™…๐™ฎ๐™ช (~$18), but I donโ€™t see myself craving it.

Plump and meaty, the Unagi could almost be good. But with the overwhelming marinade and the heavy oiliness of the Unagi fighting for flavour dominance, I couldnโ€™t enjoy this as much. ๐Ÿฑ

For a lean cut, my pork was rather fatty, with layers of fat embedded into the lean meat. For some strange reason, the marinade worked better here, and if it wasnโ€™t soggy by the time I ate this, I wouldโ€™ve enjoyed it more ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Survived the jam break during the 10 min ride OTW home and still looking pretty, the ๐™๐™ง๐™ช๐™›๐™›๐™ก๐™š ๐™’๐™–๐™œ๐™ฎ๐™ช ๐˜ฟ๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™—๐™ช๐™ง๐™ž (~$38) with Ikura (+~$15) was crazily addictive. With melt in your mouth Wagyu, truffle slices and perfect grains of Japanese rice, idk what else youโ€™d want in life tbh.

The Ikura was definitely worth the top up, the umami worked extremely well with the ingredients here.

With a generous portion of not too fatty beef, the ๐˜ฝ๐™š๐™š๐™› ๐™”๐™–๐™ ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™ž๐™ ๐™ช (~$18) had potential. Perhaps consider drenching and mixing the rice with sweet sauce โ€” it was rather dry and clumpy. ๐Ÿš
