Creative/quirky names like Heatwave, don amigos, k-pop make ordering sushi a lil more fun! This one is Caterpillar ($12.9) and it has got crabmeat, cucumber, jicama, avocado, fish roe, sesame seed & eel sauce. The topping of well-ripened avo and generous crabstick Mayo makes for a delightful bite!
Crisp yet tender, this way Unagi is treated is rly smth that shld have found its way to SG WAY earlier & I’m glad it did🇸🇬 Yet to try the other jap places which have sprouted cos of fear of being disappointed despite their more convenient locations.
PSA: pls share should you’ve found one THANK YOU!!!!!
Made of Tasmanian buckwheat flour to boost it a rich fragrance, it claims it uses a “Yute-ade” cooking method to retain the soba’s bounce/texture — the lightly-battered prawn, mushrooms & peas w soft-boiled egg makes this a greater delight to tuck into!😊 This is the only restaurant I’d visit for a legit jap soba fix (it being so simple, it’s one of those dish way more worth to cook at home😅) 💕💯
Aglio Olio w sautéed mushrooms and chicken bits (tho the amount of chicken seemed to be srsly lacking); this was 1 darn good plate of pasta thanks to my colleague who recommended going down to this corner shop nearby our workplace for Friyay lunch🍝🍻
No doubt the #1 go-to dim sum place for those who crave a variety of decent dim sum (esp. in the wee hours of the night) – Fav table has got to be those along the roadside kerb as it was a cheap form of alfresco dining. Whoop!
