Had the original BBQ pork ribs with a side of green salad and corn bread. The ribs was well-glazed with deep red marinade, meat was tender and fell from the bone easily.
For a good affordable ribs, I might come back but prolly would select other sides instead.

We chanced upon @buddyhoagies_sg and I was sold when I saw a beautiful rack on the poster. Itâs a pity though that the barbecue sauce only glazed over the meat and wasnât infused within each pork rib. However, meat was still tender, soft and delicious so kudos to that.

This is the crispy salmon sushi that came with a layer of coquette as the base. It totally altered the temperature of the fish and thus it could be an abomination to purist. However, itâs still an interesting starter for $18
Exceptionally satisfied after a beautiful meal at Fat Belly consisting of buttery and decadent steaks, simple yet delicious mushrooms, and the best burnt cheesecake Iâve ever had the privilege to have.
We fell in love with this cheesecake. It oozed soufflĂŠ cheese from the middle, while the edges reminded us of Japanese Cheesecake. Taking a spoonful of both sides along with a dollop of the raspberry jam, it was most definitely a good balance of sweet and sourness. The idea of smearing pomegranate sauce was excellent too. Delicious.
Slicing into the meat, you will find that it is soft and beautifully pinked. I love that each slice had a nice balance of meat and fats, the only disappointment was that they were too liberal with the salt. I couldn't stomach more than a couple of pieces. Nonetheless, we shared with the chef and they have graciously noted my suggestion. Will definitely come back for more!
Had a go at the Duck Cassoulet. Tucked beneath the thick layer of pancetta cheese was a rich and flavourful tomato sauce with duck slices hidden within. Rare to see duck done in this manner in Singapore cafes
The pulled pork was well marinated with the right mix of sweetness and spiciness. The portion was just about right. It's great you could choose the doneness of your SPRUCE burger. However what tops it off is the great vibes and night tunes from the live band that gives the whole place a cozy feel.
Even though The Primal is quite pricey ($14), every bite was so good, dripping with flavour and gorgeousness. Would love to come back and try other flavours, but do know that youâve got to be early on the weekends on you might be disappointed!
