I stumbled upon this gem of a place after a workout session and I briefly recalled it's the famous noodle house that opens up till late. The mee sua looked seemingly plain but packs a punch of satisfaction. The noodles were smooth and complemented the chilli and vinegar well such that there is always a lingering sour taste to it.

This is one of the few dishes which I thought came out to be a little underwhelming given how the eatery is a powerhouse with many delicious dishes under it's belt. The lala tasted very ordinary and I felt that the spring onion and ginger seasoning could be better used to bring our the best taste in the lala.

Ocean has to be hands down my favourite place to take guest from overseas whenever they request for a taste of the Singaporean cuisine. The curry fish head is the most iconic dish as the rich gravy goes really well with the vegetables and the soft and succulent fish meat. The otah and kang Kong are both dishes that I order frequently since no Singaporean meal will be complete without them. The only catch is that it's gets extremely crowded during lunch time so do make sure to get there early!

Bai Nian has such an addictive formula be it their soup broth or even their ingredients. I find myself coming back for this wonderful bowl of goodness again and again despite having to queue in the hot sweltering heat. Did I also mention that everything is freshly cooked on the spot when you make your order. Please open more branches- from your long term fan!

The verdict is official Wong Keep still has it and by that I mean an irresistible recipe that see return customers. The egg noodles are super springy and has a nice texture to it. The wanton is as usual cooked to perfection and it would be nothing short of a master piece of the char sure was more delicious!

I love everything about this bowl of goodness and they are generous with the portion size. The roast pork was very nicely done but the crispy pork was a little too hard. Make sure to add some of Seng's special chilli sauce for the additional kick.

And if you are thinking of having this for lunch, remember to come earlier as the queue starts forming as early 11.30am.

Paid 11.50 for 2 bowls of this bowls and it's worth every cent.
