Selected Gyu-men which was thinly sliced beef and onions on thin noodles in warm beef broth. Topped with spring onions.
Topped with Ajitsuke Tamago (Marinated soft yolk egg 🥚) and Katsuobushi (Japanese imported shaved bonito flakes).
The broth was surprisingly lightly. None of the expected beefy taste.
Although it was a soup base dish, one felt that the broth was a bit too limited, although was served a small bowl of broth later.

I was kind of surprised 😲 to see sea urchin in the dish, as I remembered that the staff who took my order, told me that sea urchin was not available and would be replaced by otoro (fatty tuna).
Another was surprised by the wide price range at the rotating belt from S$1.80++ to S$15.40++.

The Sichuan dumplings weren’t as spicy as I thought it’d be, but was still pretty decent, with the dumpling skin so smooth and soft, all pack with ingredients so full of flavours.

Complete with whitewash walls and potted plants adorning its counters, this pretty cafe is perfect for brunch dates with the girls! Served in cute glass jars, the pastas are a popular choice here, like the light yet flavourful Herby Vongole ($14.90) and the refreshing Chilled Prawn Angel Hair Pasta ($11.90). If you're not in the mood for pasta, they also serve flatbread burgers, such as the decadent Goldie Salted Egg Chix Flatbread Burger ($15.90).
