Fusion/Others
Fresh rice noodles with mixed vegetables and wok fried beef. Thought this dish was a little too oily for my liking, but the beef was nice and tender without tasting too artificial. There was also a heap of fried onions, spring onions and crushed nuts.
A regular portion of the famous Thai boat noodles with pretty reasonable servings of beef - the gravy was quite thick and gooey and quite nice to slurp your noodles with! I shared this with my friend and I think it may be a bit jelak if one were to eat it on his/her own.
Yet another well executed fusion dish from Redpan, this pasta had that spicy kick similar to the actual hae bi hiam, and the prawns and pretty fresh too. No wonder this is one of their signature dishes!
This classic Vietnamese beef pho soup was delicious - the broth was potent and the beef slices were tender. Also love the silky smooth rice noodles! But the portion could definitely be more generous - there were only 3 slices of the beef :/
This dish consists of a fish and prawn patty with sambal mayo, sandwiched between housemade brioche buns. Also comes with coleslaw and fries on the side. The patty was tasty, with hints of spiciness similar to the actual otah. Pretty interesting and successful example of fusion food!
Korean-Chinese fusion food right here: fried chicken, kimchi, gochujang mayo in a sesame bao. The kimchi wasn't too overpowering and the chicken was succulent. Not bad~ 👌
Props for the creativity in presentation - a full soft shell crab atop a generous serving of Nissin noodles, plus a sunny side up. I was expecting the Nissin noodles to taste like chilli crab sauce, but unfortunately it was more like Indomee with a bit of spiciness. At least the soft shell crab was pretty good.
