However was a little disappointed that it was a bit dry :/ the prawns were okay, though not the freshest I've had. But it's good that they kept the Phad Thai non-spicy by default, then serve the chilli flakes by the side to cater to those who'd want a more fiery kick!

Sadly, I found the mentaiko quite muted. Yes it was creamy, but the flavours could have been stronger...

Fast forward a few years later, I decided to patronize their 'hipster' second outlet at the CBD - YTF shop by day, bar by night.

Their specialty here is the minced meat gravy that is splashed liberally on the dry YTF items. Thankfully, it's as tasty as what I remembered it to be! Although a bit salty, the fried items absorbed the gravy well. I didn't order any noodles or rice, but I know their dry noodles - doused in the same gravy sauce - is highly raved!

Really enjoyed the dim sum offerings here that's freshly made on the spot! My most favourite dishes are the Baked Custard Buns (duh, haha) and the Mushroom Buns! 😍 Prices are affordable too, so come in a group to order more and fill your tummies with these goodies! 😋👍

The kimchi wasn't too overpowering and the chicken was succulent. Not bad~ 👌

But the chicken was marinated very well and it was so good!! 👍 One of my favourite dishes from the newly opened #chefwanskitchen!
