hands down the best, most delicious flatbread i’ve had in my life. something i always look forward to when i come to osia is their flatbread! they’re priced at $14 per tray and come in four flavours (sundried tomato & cheddar, salted egg yolk & curry leaf, garlic butter & parmesan and macadamia & basil pesto).
tip: order two trays and ask for half and half—this way you get to try all four and they’re all equally delicious!
best served hot and toasty. the bread is unbelievably flavourful and soft, and when it’s paired with their signature dips (vary from day to day), it’s absolutely divine—no kidding.
got the chance to eat at osia @ rws once again (always a pleasure!) and i decided to order the recommended glacier 51 toothfish ($56) i was definitely pleasantly surprised because this dish completely exceeded all my expectations. the fish itself was charred nicely and i could honestly never describe the taste because it’s absolutely heavenly!! it’s so tasty and just enough char to have a very nice, distinct smokey flavour that leaves you wanting more. it’s just the right balance of sweet and savoury and i love love loved it! the kumera purée (sweet potato) paired nicely with the fish. the fish was also very well cooked wherein it was extremely smooth (like jelly) and had a really nice texture. although the portion seemed small, it’s surprisingly pretty filling! when i go back, i might honestly consider ordering it again. 10/10 and definitely worth a try 🤤
