Brunch
It’s really affordable for a simple breakfast.
It come with a drink and soft boiled eggs.
The good thing is that you can dine in real food cafe if you are also ordering from their cafe. So you get the best of both worlds. 👍🏻🌍
It’s located at Tzu Chi Youth Centre.

Ordered the supposedly more famous rosti and pancake, taste was above average but definitely not worth the wait. Queue was long and moving slowly, husband Please take note if your wife is pregnant.
Coffee was a plus point, just takeaway it and save all the hassle. ☕
Taste:7/10

Good for brunch with a friend is this tiny minimalistic Japanese bakery just a short walk away from UE square. Order the satisfying and incredibly tasty Fluffy Shokupan Sandwich ($8.50) that sees big chunks of egg mixed with creamy mayo. Simple but also yummy is the Butter Cinnamon Sugar Toast ($3.50) with crisp edges and a fluffy centre blanketed in cinnamon, butter and sugar. Grab an Almond Croissant ($5) to-go for a truly decadent tea time treat at home — it’s perfect when paired with black coffee.

Keep this quaint modern space in mind for a post-shopping meal just a short walk away from City Square. Previously known as Hustle Co., they have since expanded their drink selection to more than just craft beers — think coffee, tea and even gin & tonic options! Food-wise, get the Shakshuka ($14) for a luscious stew of soft bell peppers, tomatoes, beans, feta cheese and onsen eggs served with toasted sourdough. Alternatively, go for the Salmon Rosti ($22) that sees a salmon fillet served with dill creme fraiche and salmon roe. Psst. Be sure to check out their selection of yummy bakes from In The Brickyard!

Sad to see that the prices have gone up slightly but the yummy food is still worth a try. Smooth creamy avocado & melted feta cheese is mixed with my favourite #pesto in a toasted yet soft bread. Do note that it’s only available till noon! The #trufflefries were thin & crispy with truffle aroma and made for a nice side.

WEEKEND BRUNCH MENU
This long overdue first visit of mine called for an order of the Mezze Platter ($23), a selection of three mezze adorned with fresh herbs, vegetables, nuts, seeds, falafel and olive oil. Being a total noob when it comes to Middle Eastern cuisine (fusion or not), I didn't know where to start.
The three mezze I got to enjoy:
Burnt Miso Hummus (tahini, walnuts, blackcurrants)
Muhammara (red pepper, walnut, vine leaf)
Babaganoush (pomegranate, teriyaki, sesame)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I particularly liked the first two, especially the hummus. Safe to say, I mopped every smooth, creamy and smoky bit up with the accompanying Turkish bread.
Loving the ambience a little more than the food

One of the most iconic dishes in Club Street Social's menu is their Truffled Toast ($14). Although it looks rather simple, this little bread box with a centre of seriously runny yolks complemented with savoury Fontina cheese and a hint of fragrant truffle makes for a perfect way to start any day. Their laid back vibes, chic high-ceiling interior and concise menu also make for a great place to catch up with friends.
Set out on a brunch date to this picture-perfect restaurant overlooking the riverside. While its sister outlet on the first floor, SPRMRKT Daily, has a more casual vibe, SPRMRKT Kitchen and Bar on the second floor is boasts a gorgeous, more upscale interior with plush teal lounge chairs and gold hardware fixtures. Come here for the crowd-pleasing Huevos Tostados ($26) — flank steak topped with two poached eggs. The fusion Pork Buns ($25), a take on the kong bak bao, features open-faced fluffy buns with thick slabs of pork belly topped with poached eggs. Instead of the usual braise, the pork belly is roasted to produce an delightfully crackling skin. If budget permits, come at night instead to enjoy freshly shucked Oysters ($4 per shell), the Ranger Valley T Bone ($15 per 100g) that sports a glorious char, and the grilled Spanish Octopus ($49) served with burnt kiwi, bulgur and kale to impress your date. Pro tip: There is a Brunch Set Menu ($38) that allows you one main and one cocktail.

This cosy, Chinese-inspired restaurant bar on Duxton is cheeky and in-your-face (check out the red lanterns and pictures of vintage Chinese pin-up girls), and so much fun because of that — so bring a brunch date with a sense of humour. Like the dinner menu, the brunch selection is adventurous and creative. Sit down to raved about plates like the Unagi Benedict ($23), which Burppler Alison Ho describes as "a fantastic fusion dish that combines fried mantou with that umami from the unagi and a whole dollop of an amazing yuzu hollandaise". Also try the popular Mentaiko Mac & Cheese ($16) and Mung Bean Frittata ($17). For dessert, get Coconut Tau Huay ($6) or the Mantou French Toast Ice Cream Sandwich ($7).
Avg Price: $50 per couple

Many burpplers’ serenading of Artichoke’s date pudding got me set on visiting, but man their savouries were what sealed the meal for me — most notably their Steak & Eggs (S$28++). Soft scrambled eggs that are perfectly seasoned, silky and buttery as hell, paired with 150g of tender and juicy flank steak cozily blanketed in a nutty, moreish pistachio pesto. As if that’s not enough, they throw in the yummiest (I kid you not) za’atar croissant. You’d never have tried the classic steak and eggs like this, that I can promise you; and for this it’s well worth the trip (and wait) down.
Settling for French Toast, Cocoa Granola and these addictive Umami Fries as we countdown to weekend.
