Honest review- I don’t think the burgers here are that good. Even tho we could see them grilling the burgers hot off the pan the burger came served slightly cold to us without a hint of warmth. The patty was quite dry as well, and the condiments (esp the lettuce) I felt were a bit excessive. Even the onion rings weren’t anything to shout about- they’re not tasty at all. Expect to be disappointed if you’re expecting much after seeing that video on Facebook.
But then again, the burgers here are cheap compared to other places (the quad patty is only like 15 I think which is the starting price of many burgers outside), and maybe it was an off day for them. I also think it might actually taste better with 1/2 more patties. I suggest you try this tho, was disappointed that day, but really maybe it tastes better on others.
Got these parsley garlic fries a la carte for $4. Came in fresh and piping hot, and surprisingly well done. While the exterior of the fries were golden and crisp, the insides were soft and pillowy. This impressed me quite a bit - for many burger/hot dog shops I’ve been to, many cooks have settled with providing mediocre fries, with the burger/main as the centerpiece, so it was nice for a change having a well prepared side of fries. These also came topped with a generous portion of garlic, pepper and parsley. Could use a bit more salt, but of course that could be easily added later according to one’s preference and taste. Portion could be larger, but it’s not tiny either.
