Chicken Rice

One of the food under the Michelin Guide! Food was decent, and chilli was not bad but worth it for the price!! Queue wasn’t too long considering it was a weekend lunch. Soup was also the peanut soup!

Actually went to the wrong outlet but decided to try since we were here already. $4 is rather cheap for a place with air con but the taste was rather disappointing. They didn’t even have soup to serve us, chicken was coldish and rice and chilli were soso. The ginger was mixed with spring onion which was interesting

Accompanied with ice coffee! Felt that the soy sauce of the chicken and portion could be more but love the chilli and rich and tender chicken. Worthy lunch set!

Loved how the saucer had 3 compartments so that I can put my fav chilli, ginger and black sauce! The black sauce was rather fragrant and chilli but the chilli was disappointing, with the lack of chilli taste. We ordered the set for 2, and gizzard. Gizzard was rather tasteless due to the bland sauce so we were rather disappointed. Steamed and roasted chicken tasted okay, though the meat given were rather little.
We were ratherr disappointed with the taste ☹️
