HDL and BIAP can step aside because burpple has these deals for the ingredients and the soup is literally so nourishing and rich in the best way possible. celebrated a birthday here and it was very apt to share fo burpple’s birthday! #happyburpday

O K it was a good and satisfying meal but for the price and the location (got so lost trying to come here) it might not be worth a special trip down!!

Everything here that we tried was so goooood - not pictured: shrimp dumplings, xiaolongbao, egg tarts, sieu mai, cheong fun w charsiew....everything was super affordable (ended up being less than $40 SGD)

SO GOOD......sometimes carbonara sauce can be overpowering and heavy but this isn’t at all!! Got the cheese waterfall ($5) that added to the creaminess of the dish so 4 people shared this and felt full (this pot was meant for 2 pax). Tteokbokki was soft enough and there wasn’t any difficulty chewing them!!! Super yummy 10/10 recommend + the delicious fried mandus ($3.50 for 2)

I cannot emphasize how worth this deal is with burpple beyond - for $16 you get 2 types of dumplings, 2 bowls of noodles and 2 drinks!!!! WHAT!!!! We got the miso mushroom noodles and the noodles were firm yet springy, with the sauce covering the noodles very evenly :) tried the smoked duck dumpling which were SO GOOD - pan fried and crispy on one side yet so soft on the other side, it was bursting with flavor!! the Sichuan dumplings weren’t my favorite, but it wasn’t too spicy so no fear!!! Overall it was a really great meal and would 10/10 go again to try more dumplings!!!

Ok literally the most basic order you can get at A&W but done sO well. The bread felt like sponge - firm but so soft while the sausage tasted like IKEA’s one (which ain’t a bad thing). The ketchup and mustard is automatically put on for you so! If you’re not a fan, might wanna tell them beforehand

Only putting this in causal dining bc of burpple beyond!! (lol) was hoping to be proven wrong but it is true that some staff treat you differently when you mention you’re using beyond....anyways the meal started off with a simple salad that was pretty appetizing before this mountain of fries and steak was presented to us. Ordered medium well and it still felt over cooked so maybe medium might work better! I enjoyed the Legendary Sauce, I THINK it’s mushroom + aged cheese giving it a sourish aftertaste that might not be everyone’s cup of tea!!! But the fries....were so good. So crispy and not oily at all, i loved it with the sauce!

Had the Hans Im Gluck burger which consisted of a beef patty that was surprisingly very thick, moist and juicy (cos it initially looked very dry!!) sandwiched between multigrain bread. The portion was huge and I couldn’t finish it, but could be due to the steak fries i literally couldn’t stop eating.....

Truth be told, I didn’t know confit=fried so I was a little disappointed when it came because I’m not a big fan of fried food. But this was really good - the skin was crisp and the chicken was not dry, still retained its juiciness!

There are many cafes along the Upper Thomson stretch, but this caught our eye for the affordable lunch options and beautiful murals! They serve weekday set lunches at $7.90 nett, which comprises one main and a drink. The portions were sufficiently big, and super delicious 😋 Added on a side of Thai fish cakes and Mango Sticky Rice for $7.90, and it was yummy as well. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

First time trying this place! I’ve always enjoyed Mexican food but never really had the chance to try it in Singapore...till yesterday! We shared braised beef + baja fish tacos which were really flavorful - the taco shell/skin (?) was thin so it didn’t feel too heavy BUT with the heaps of toppings it was actually really filling. The beef was soft and flavorful, and the fish was crispy thought the sauce was a bit overwhelming imo. The pork quesadillas were delicious, and went especially well with the guac. The guac itself was super fresh and I ate it straight from the bowl hahaha + the salsa was good too, although a bit spicy!!! Overall it was a good meal but a bit overpriced :’)

2 of us really pigged out today, but it was worth it because this was a delicious meal! The egg was thick and fluffy, and the sauce complemented the cheese in the egg roll well. The pizza base wasn’t too thick and the crust was nice and crisp, but the sourness of the kimchi is rather strong (but then again, I’m not the biggest fan of kimchi). The pork ribs in the cream spaghetti surprised me because I wasn’t expecting the meat to be so tender!
