Another place to go to for a good hearty healthy meal in the CBD area. The sous vide steak had a pretty thick cut and was well seasoned. Chose the brown rice for a healthier option. The side dishes in the donburi complements one another and manages to gel the dish together.

Classic croque madame on bagels, a "today's sepcial" on the menu. So sinful yet satisfying, simply to die for. Ham, eggs, bèchamel, mustard seeds. The flavours found in this bagel is just amazing.

Forty Hands is no stranger in the cafe scene here in Singapore, an establishment that has been around for some time. It is of no surprise and I'm really glad that they are still doing brunch fare right.

A good amount of creamy hollandaise sauce over poached eggs with well seasoned steak and spicy roasted potatoes on the side. It is without a doubt that the runny egg yolk from the poached egg jels and holds the dish together. The elevated combination of flavours you get in this dish will definitely awake your palates.

Red wine braised chicken with some vegetables and roasted mushrooms. This dish has a rather hearty portion, filled with packs of flavours. It also comes with a choice of mashed potato or baguette as a side, and a bowl of soup.

Finally hopped on the hype on Omurice and boy I must say, wasn't regretting it one bit. With an additional top-up of $2, I chose my egg to be "lava style", which resulted my omu to be silky and flowy. The combination of the omu with the tomato rice pretty good. However the beef burger patty was a little too tough for my liking. The demiglaze sauce was a tad bit on the salty side of the flavour spectrum.

The sashimis in this chirashi don can't get any fresher, you could literally taste the ocean with every bite of it.

This side dish totally took me by surprise. In-house sauce drizzled on top of the meat, makes the dish glitter and so mouth watering. It's just a burst of flavours when the meat touches the taste palate and before you know it, the glorious piece of meat just simply melts in your mouth!

Finally gotten the chance to devour this much raved and hyped about hipster Nasi Lemak. The coconut rice is pretty fluffy and subtly fragrant with hints of coconut flavour in every bite. In-house seasoning of the chicken, skin so crispsand meat so tender, these combinations made the chicken leg so delicious and on point. Perfect fried eggs with runny egg yolk. Crunchy ikan bilis and peanuts with refreshing slices of cucumbers. The sambal definitely packs a punch. It's just a burst of flavours when you have everything on your palate!
