Definitely not the best but not the worst also. Really weird to have such a well-known establishment here in a neighbourhood area in Woodlands. Hardly any crowd during lunch time. Their lunch set is also really scrumptious and affordable. I'm not done with my #chickenrice posts. XD Happy sunday everyone! :)

I think wee Nam Kee is definitely overrated. I won’t say it’s bad but maybe above average? I really like the dumplings 🥟 and their rice is not bad Though. 🐔#feedthetheme

I would say this shop sells average chicken rice. Lol not impressed. 🤭🤔 Chicken 🐔 could have been more tender, rice could have been more fragrant and their vegetables could have had more sauce and flavor.

🐔 One of the better chicken rice store at Toa Payoh. Tender chicken drumstick and wing with fragrant rice, soup and dark soy sauce and ginger for you to dip your chicken in.

🐔 Toa Payoh Lorong 7 Hawker Center. They have been around since i was very young but their popularity and quality has declined over the years, but nonetheless kudos to them for surviving. lol Try them if you are feeling nostalgic.
