I find myself eating here whenever I can because the restaurant is always quiet and I seriously do not want it to close down. I feel like I’m in Hong Kong whenever I dine here and their roasted pork belly is one of the best in Singapore. Cut to the size of Mahjong tiles (seriously), they are always served warm with a very crispy top and mustard on the side. There is never a separate layer of fat which usually comes with cheaper roasted pork belly and yet, each piece is melt-in-your-mouth soft. 😋😋😋
Succulent prawns lightly steamed and topped with savoury minced garlic (which was not overpowering). Goes well with their signature fried Heng Hwa Bee Hoon. 😋😋😋
Eggplant is one of my favourite vegetables so I had no complaints with their generous serving of cubed eggplants with minced meat and gravy. It was poured over a warm bowl of Japanese short grain rice that was exceptionally sticky with a chewy bite texture. 😋😋
