We had the brunch set @dbbistrosing and my fav is actually the kaya French toast dessert.

The bread was soft and chewy with hint of kaya and coconut sugar!
And there was just the right amount of mango present to add a different layer of fruitiness and sweetness. •

Burger indulgence 🍔

I really really loved this ‘Original db burger’ that filled with short ribs and foie Gras inside a huge beef patty. It’s my first time having foie Gras stuffed inside a patty and it really had a rich upbringing.
One thing, though, The burger was too thick to bite 😏

The Real BBQ Chicago comes with double mozzarella, chicken chunk, roasted onion, mushroom, tomatoes, potatoes, honey, icing sugar, almond flakes etc.
The icing sugar has a rather mild taste which was somewhat masked by the generous BBQ sauce.
I liked the chewiness of the black rice dough and the cheese embedded along the side of the dough. There was also strawberry sauce provided which I used to dip the side.

Overall it’s more for sweet tooth compared to Chicago. A perfect cheese indulgence for Friday!

Devine pizza! No other words to describe!

They recently changed the name and the menu so took me a while to locate it. But the pizza is of great quality and the dough was amazing - chewy yet hav a degree of crust. It was said the dough was set for 72hr but didn’t confirm that. Nonetheless, an authentic place with good service.

Mozza has always been my fav spot for pizza and never let me down.

Chicken, salami, ham etc - sounded like a feast! Though delicious, it was a little dry compared to their signature La Nonna pizza. A little more sauce would be nicer!

We went on a Friday and had 1-for-1 pizzas. This “la Nonna” was one of them. Rich truffle taste and truffle oil - no wonder everyone recommends it! Though looked ordinary on the menu, it won’t disappoint!

Good crust w chewy n utterly delicious taste! Meatballs, cheese, sausage, ah this is life. Enjoyed a cocktail in an urban setting, what can I expect more?
