Had a nice chill National Day at home 🇸🇬☺️ My friend came over for a painting session and we had pizza on my balcony 🥰 Been wanting to try @altpizza for months and I’m so glad they do delivery because my foot still hasn’t recovered fully. The pizza is thin crust European-style and you can choose the sauce, garnish and toppings. I chose the vine ripened tomato sauce, basil, rocket, broccoli and marinated artichokes. The pizza was pretty nice and perfect for two. While they were super generous with the rocket, I wish there was more artichoke and broccoli on the pizza :) The garlic bread and balsamic sauce was really delicious. Love that the food arrived so fast and was still nice and hot thanks to @grabfoodsg (and my first time ordering on it!) Also thanks to my friend for the treat and spending the day with me ♥️🥰
This veggie pizza is my most favourite pizza in the world, the crust is the right amount of thickness and chewiness, and I really love the generous amount of pumpkin, zucchini, Brussels sprouts and broccoli! Definitely a must order at any Da Paolo Gastronomia outlet.
Decently priced vegan dish from newly opened HRVST Cafe at Downtown Gallery. This fusion style risotto is full of meaty BKT flavour. Think duck porridge. Vegan food doesn't have to be bland or boring!
Really glad I got to try out Elemen at Millenia Walk for dinner, because I've always been curious as to what their food is like.
From their shopfront, I always thought that they served Chinese food with a twist (Which they do. The food is vegetarian and fusion, i.e. East meets West in this case).
Most of the menu contains mushrooms, which may be a good or bad thing depending on your preference.
This dish came in a claypot and it was sizzling! I love claypot rice and this was pretty well executed. It has white quinoa, brown rice, black rice, curly kale (!) and red and green capsicum.
Taste-wise it was nutty and slightly peppery. The grains were well-cooked and not dry and the portion size was actually quite large :) Needless to say, this rice bowl is low in calories and healthy (unlike those super greasy, MSG-filled claypot rice you can get literally everywhere). It took me some time to finish eating though.
I liked that my meal was so tasty without being oily, so props to the chef for knowing what he/she is doing! 👨🏻🍳👩🏻🍳
