@starbuckssg We guess it's time to update your mooncake flavors. We have been having the same flavors for at least the last 3 mooncake seasons. If the quality would remain the same, we would make an exception for the flavor change request. Somehow we both agree that it tastes similar to brownies than mooncakes as time passed by.

An annual ritual to have Starbucks mooncake so grab this from Food Panda (slightly more expensive from instore purchase) but well worth it cos can do homebrew ☕️. The classic Lotus bean paste with egg yolk and Coffee caramel mooncakes are great with right flavor blending. Can skip the salted caramel dark choc one. 👉

We bought this original Pineapple cake instead of ‘salted egg’ one because it’s a chef pick! 👨‍🍳 The cake crust turns out to be quite dry with tangy pineapple filling. The first pineapple snack for this year. Let’s hope it keeps getting better! 🤞

Our attempt to have this flavor again take us from Starbucks Toa Payoh (HDB hub) to Starbucks reserve in United square as the TPY outlet doesn’t have it in stock. Not too sweet with crunch from hazelnut filling although we wish they could have been bolder with the coffee node in the mooncake.🤓

Kick off the week slowly with this nutty mooncake. This is the last flavour we tried at Mandarin Oriental and we will still stick to our favourite Lychee Martini as our mooncake choice!! 🍸 The Osmanthus flavour is not pronounced but seeing a lot of walnuts in the mooncake paste.

As promised, we gonna share our most favourite flavour of snow skin mooncake @mo_singapore, this is the one!!! 🎉
Maybe cos the mooncake is slightly boozy with lychee paste coated with martini OR that it satisfy our chocolate crave (be it dark chocolate crust and white chocolate center). We give this 💯 and next year we might just buy only 8 pcs of this flavour instead of assorted one.🤤

Continue from our earlier post on the double flavour we bought from their Taka outlet. After @mo_singapore know this, they rectify the situation on the missing flavour. We have never been sponsored by anyone and our review is based on personal taste (just happy to share with our foodie pals here!) 😉

What we enjoy from this snow skin mooncake flavour is the big chestnut inside the mooncake. The custard paste will be for someone who loves eggy taste. We have our favourite flavour on mind from this snow skin moon collection and it will be revealed in the next post! 👌

Last year we had @Mo_Singapore and this year we can’t resist the temptation of their unique flavours and bought a box of mooncake (8 pcs) at their Taka outlet (Mooncake Festival 25% off) We suppose to get 4 flavours but instead we got 3.

We realize once we were back home that she gave us a double tray of Mother of Dragons so we didn’t have custard paste. We don’t really mind as we love this! 🐉
Mother of Dragons mooncake inspired by cocktail @mobarsg . Once chilled, it ‘s almost like eating fruit ice cream. It is not overly sweet with sour taste from lime zest. We totally enjoy it with the crunchy candied dragon fruit & the total texture of mooncake. The snowskin can be kept up to 1 week if frozen. #beforeandafter #humpdayfun

Someone need to try & share first although this is still quite early for the mooncake season! 🤗 Gooey, sweet with coffee flavour and nutty texture. One of us like it & would buy this again. If you look for bolder flavour, gotta try more! 😜

* "Starbucks coffee with Dark Chocolate Truffle" (wish we had more of this flavor!!👍)
With the infused coffee, lotus paste has never been the same!! 😍
