Hawker Fare
Headed all the way to yishun to try one of my favorite food- shrimp paste chicken wings! People were already camping before 5pm to queue for these wings. We bought 6 to try. Admittedly one of the best I tried. The shrimp paste flavour was just right, the batter was not thick and you could feel the juicy meat throughout. Not that oily too! Love it, will be back but best eaten there while itās hot!
Price: $1.70 per wing (Min 2 pcs)

Supper kinda food especially when this stall opens only at night and all the way till the morning. Comfort food but yes, it is indeed a little too far...
Price: $4.20
I am not a fan of fishball noodles typically. But this bowl of kway teow (you get to choose other types of noodles as well) + å ę (extra ingredients) is the bomb. The fish balls are fresh and springy. While the prawns are even fresher! The kway teow is a balance of soft and not too soggy. Remember to order a mix of chilli and tomato sauce to enjoy a yummy fusion of spicy and sweet taste.
Price: $5 for extra ingredients
āBlackā version- meat was soft and I liked that we can mix anything we want in the clay pot. Youtiao was dry though, worth a miss. Still on a search for a better one besides Hong Ji.
Price: $8 onwards
I can eat this over and over again. Silky Ipoh hor fun with tasty strips of chicken š
