Good Ol' Western Food

Went to The Boiler knowing that people are excited by having their seafood on the table instead of plates. But wow this basket of fish & chips was so good it totally hit the ball out of the park for me.

Extremely crispy on the outside and soft on the inside coupled with surprisingly flavourful ad well cooked fries. This was more mind blowing to me than the ritual of eating seafood from the table. Must order! 😋

Back at this place again trying another dish! Their offerings never disappoint me! Another highly recommended item. 😋

Thai Chilli is surprisingly cold and refreshing (not sure if intentional though haha). Coleslaw though a side dish, is different and better than your typical fast food variant's and goes very well with the fish. Fries are of high quality; unlike the thin and less stuffed options find elsewhere. On to the main ingredient; the fried fish. Not sure what fish they used but it was so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Really well done. 😋

Lunch on my first day of work and I can already foresee the amount of good food passing through my taste buds hahaha! This plate of bbq cajun chicken is a tad expensive for hawker centre western food at $7 but boy it is guuud. 😋 And my side choices of mashed potato and fries makes this an unhealthily good meal! 😂
