@sinpopobrand did a menu revamp earlier this month and switched up many items while keeping the old favourites. There are quite a few fusion items now and they can be very unique too! Here's what we had:
.
We had the Crab Bee Hoon ($19) which was an old favourite brought over from the previous menu. It has a rich wok-hei and savoury flavour from the beehoon and the soup. There was a generous portion of crab meat too.

This was a meal that we really enjoyed and I would want to go back again to try the other new items! Thank you @sinpopobrand for all the food and Wendy for the warm hospitality! 🤗

Had yummy kway chap at the Kopitiam in Bukit Panjang Plaza, we had a Kway Chap Set for 1, Dry Kway Chap and Duck Rice! The Kway Chap Set ($6) includes Egg, Taukwa, Tau Pok, Large/Small Intestine, Pig Skin and Pork Belly. The kway was smooth and the broth was tasty plus the ingredients were prepared well too. My favourite item is the Dry Kway Chap ($7) which comes with Braised Duck, Taukwa, Egg and Salted Veg. I like it for it's unique flavour and there's chilli that you can add to it to get that spicy kick. The Braised Duck Rice ($6.50) had Braised Duck, Tau Kwa, Egg, Salted Veg, I like how this comes with fragrant yam rice. Overall everything was good and it definitely satisfied my kway chap cravings, do drop by if you're in the area!

Thank you @cliffton_jt for hosting us and for the delicious food! ☺️

One of my favourite curry noodles in Singapore is from Hup Lee Claypot Rice in @milleniawalk's @koufu.sg. I love how the ee mian soaks up the curry and how they are so generous with the portions too! 😍

Got curry puffs from @erjiecurrypuff and I like the crispy crust and the flakey skin. There was a lot of filling in it too, I would have liked it more if the curry was more spicy. They have more flavours like luncheon meat, sardine etc but they weren't available when I was there. Overall they're pretty good and worth getting if you're in the area! 😋

@youtiaoman’s frozen You Tiao range features their products in 5 flavours:
- Traditional You Tiao
- Sotong You Tiao
- Charcoal You Tiao Mini
- Wholegrain You Tiao Mini
- Otah Charcoal You Tiao

We got to try the Traditional You Tiao ($4.95 for 6 pieces), Sotong You Tiao ($6.85 for 12 pieces) and Otah Charcoal You Tiao ($6.85 for 12 pieces). They're all really crispy after airfrying. I liked the Sotong You Tiao most because of the flavour of the squid paste and the sesame seeds. The Otah Charcoal You Tiao has a spicy kick from the otah which is tasty too. The traditional ones are fluffy inside, I can imagine how well they soak up a dip or curry 😋

These are very convenient, we popped them into an air fryer and you can control the amount of oil you would like to add to them so it's healthier too! These products are halal certified as well.

You may get these from youtiaoman.com or @finestfoodsg outlets. You Tiao Man is working with @mayerspore to give away $3,100 worth of appliances for every purchase until February 2022! Every $10 spent on youtiaoman.com and all major online retail outlets automatically qualifies buyers to win!

Thank you @youtiaoman for all the yummy youtiao! 🤗

Had breakfast at @chinmeechin.sg without having to queue long because we were first in line before they opened 😂 we had the Kaya toast set along with some of their buns and a gula melaka chiffon cake. I liked how the buns and cake were fluffy and the service was good too! It's a nice place to have breakfast at but I probably won't queue long for it 😅

@sshcurrypuff's curry chicken puffs are stuffed with a lot of filling and have a crispy flaky texture. I would like it more if the curry was more spicy but it was pretty tasty still 😋

Visited Hup Lee Claypot Rice again and was happy to see that they sell hotplate curry noodles now! It was very filling and comforting especially on a rainy day with the curry kept hot for a long time along with that slightly spicy kick 😋

Ordered @sinkee_simpangbedok's chicken rice the other day and got chicken rice balls! They were huge and very filling plus the roast chicken was tender too! The sets were definitely value for money and it's something I'll definitely order again 😋

Had my usual hotplate ee-mian recently at Hup Lee Claypot Rice and it is very shiok with the charred flavours from using the hotplate hehe. Love how they are so generous with the chicken (all hidden under the foil) too!

Had the Fish Maw Set Lunch at @yanjigourmet with thick beehoon and it's yummy too! The soup was very tasty and they were generous with the fish maw plus meat balls/chunks too! The lunch set comes with a drink so it's quite a good deal 😋

Had tasty homely Peranakan food at @currywok_sg with their individual sets recently. I love how each set has a variety of dishes and you don't have to go in a group to try many things. I especially liked the fried fish which was very crispy. We tried their Orh Nee and it was pretty fragrant but a bit too watery for my liking 😅 Will be back for the other dishes next time! 😋
